Hey guys. I was driving home from college and all of a sudden my volume went out. I have no music now. If I turn it up all the way, you can hear it a little bit in the back right speaker. I really have no idea what it is. Anyone know? I already checked the fuse on the back of my headunit (Pioneer) and it seems fine. Anything?

It could have been a freak power surge, happened to me once, but usually it burns up the fuses. What kind of speakers do you have? If they're stock there's a chance that all of them blew out at the same time, but that seems a little odd to happen all at once. Do you have a high pass filter to protect the speakers? If not, and they're playing all the bass, they could blow easily. I've still never heard of the volume just vanishing in an instant, altho I have blown many speakers and subwoofers. Sorry I couldn't be more help.

Well, I took out the headunit and put back the stock one and it works fine now. I can hear music and everything. Do you think it might just be my headunit. I think i might need a new one? Does this help

Sounds like its gotta be your head unit. A brand that makes really really good head units is Sony. I dont reccommend their subs or amps, but I've been using their Head units for over 5 years and never had one problem. A great place to shop is www.onlinecarstereo.com, they have some really sweet deals.

Hey man, I am looking through that website you recommended me and found an LCD screen in dash, but I have no idea if it fits my car. I tried calling them, but no answer. How can i find out what will fit my car? When you purchase something from that website, how do you know what fits your car?
