I just bought a 2001 eclipse GS. I want a bigger and better engine. Does anyone have any ideas one what kinda engine i should get?

I don't know about thee engine but I believe there is a turbo kit for your car. I think u should spend your money on the turbo and a big intercooler thats my opinion.

buy a bigger motor is alot like walking backwards. Its cool for a little bit, its not fast,its not easy, and its a big waste of time. Turbo that motor, it can hold up to 15psi on the stock internals which wouldl make you faster then any v6 could ever make you.

but if you are dead set on swapping in an engine, the evo engine will work with modifications.

I totally agree with this also. The GS engine is actually the strongest engine out of the 3g's for turbo charging

www.tearstone.com it is all there and can make over 300WHP on the stock motor
