Man, you guys must have it rough with the cops, Tint laws in ga have been revoked completely due to many out of staters getting ticketed for having anything under 35 percent. But its completely unregulated at the moment, I got my jetta done in 10% all around for 95$ and the guy even came to my house..with a lifetime warranty, I'm about to put 15 or 20 on my Galant 10 percent was just a wee bit too dark at night.

30% tint is not very dark. 15% is pretty dark. You will not be able to see is the car even in daylight. I had 20% on my car and got a 150.00 ticket. But I do not know where youare from so I could not tell you what the law is or what you should. But the darkness of the tint also depens on the color of your car. Some cars look good with light tint. I have a black Eclipse GT and the windows did not look right light tinted, so I retinted them darker and it made my car look so much better.
