Can I just get a wideband without a SAFCII? Because some people have told me to get a SAFCII with the wideband. Can I just get a wideband?

Wideband is not a tuning device... it just gives you your a/f .

a wideband does no good without tuneing SAFCII is what you tune with by reading your wideband

using a wideband is the only true way to properly tune a car. Without it your done for unless a pro does it. Even at dyno shops they hook up a wideband to tune your car most of the time

Sounds like I am going to purchase the SAFCII with a wideband. Thanks guys. But to tell you guys the truth, I am still lost on what gauges I truly need. This might be a little "angering" for you guys. But I really need help.
This might help:
I am going to be purchasing a 16G turbo, fuel pump, change fuel filter, already have Greddy Evo2 catback exhaust, ordered intake with K&N filter (which should be here in a couple days). Does this help deciding what gauges I should purchase or which ones I truly need? I definitely need a boost gauge.

Thats a norrow band a/f ratio gauge, which reads stoitchomitry... in simple terms you need a wide band, those 50 dollar blinky gauges dont do crap for you. Also I would stay away from those gauges. I had a friend get that same set and the boost gauge didnt work out of the box and he ended up just buying an autometer one that worked fine. If your looking for a good deal on a wideband check out extremepsi.com, and summitracing.com they have some of the best prices around for anyhting.
