never herd that before, but I have herd that the safc II dosent work well with the 3g ecllipse. If that is the case may I suggest the greddy e-manage(the new one). Its got a feature that lets you share fuel maps, and has the capability to control spark, so its almost like a stand alone... its a super piggy back.

The SAFCII is much better the I... I use the II on my EVO and it made a HUGE difference in power when tuned. The SAFCII allows you to tune in RPM increments if 200 the I only allows every 1000 but not only that there are more fetures to the II oppossed to the I

Stupid Question, how exacltly does the SAFCII work? What exactly does it do? I am planning to put on a 16G turbo in my car, and everyone is telling me to buy one, so that I can tune my car. But, I have no idea what exactly it does and how would it help me tune my car?

Another stupid question, how exactly does the turbo timer work? Do I just plug it up and turn it on? How does it work?

The safc moddifies the mas air flow sensors output so the motor can compensate for larger injectors. If your not going to run over 17 psi, and your keping your stock injecotrs you dont need one. PErsonally I would get a dsmlink for your car. Its a bit more expensive but much better for a 6 bolt swap.... but that would be if you were running around 20psi+.

FOr the turbo timmer, it hooks into your ignition system(the directions will tell you how to do it) and when you turn the car off and take the key out the car will continue to run for how ever you want it to(up to 10 min). If the car is put in gear or the e-brake is let down the car will turn off as a saftey feature.

Can you explain the wideband. I believe this is part of the mods for running 20+ psi. I do understand the SAFC II but nobody has ever explained what a wideband is. What is the price of a SAFC II and DSMLink. I know with DSMLink you can download a tune for your car so you dont need to take it to a place.

Also... whats better, EMANAGE, Apexi SAFC II or Greddy PROFEC-E01. Im not even totally sure that the Greddy does the same job as EMANAGE.

Emanage>SAFCII>SAFCI Profec is a boost controller

a wideband is a o2 sensor and gauge that reads your A\F ratio in exact real time which is the only true way to tune a car
