quick update... I bought a greddy oi pressure gauge today so I can monitor the oil pressure going into the turbos. According to a specialist at Redat of North America, the oil psi should be at 40-60 and I'm reading 85-95 on my gauge. I need to get oil restrictors to slow the flow down. I was also told I need to go buy a book titled Max Boost by Corky Bell. I heard its a must read for any serious tuner.

Check summit racing, they carry all sorts of cool an fittings. I think it may be your line size, is that what greddy gave you? On my car my oil lines were 8an to 6an. Also get that 60' down to 1.9-1.8(can be done with some nittos N1's or 555r's) and you will probally run a 12.7. For the s/c-turbo setup. A stock for lightning comes with a root style blower (12psi) and runs the 1/4 mile in 13.9 seconds. A company makes a conversion kit that removes the charger, replaces the intake manifold, and adds one turbo. That set up alone, all stock ecu settings, stock tires, the wastegate set at 10 psi, the lightning will run a 13.2. A s2000 f22 motor with a supercharger set up will run a high 12, where with a lovefab turbo kit it will run a low 12. reason: Turbos are hooked into the exaust system, restrict little air flow, and have a much higher peak HP capability then a s/c of similar size. Also superchargers add to centrifical weight. To add boost on a supercharger you (can) add a larger lower pully. So not only are you adding boost, but your also addin a bunch of rotational mass. Yes superchargers give you hp right out of the box, but thats mostly from root style chargers-like that of a lightning- which also suffer from belt slip(lag). Lastly to adjust boost on a turbo all you need to do is adjust a check valve by twiting it, where a supercharger you need to change pullys. I have riden in v8's that were supercharged/turbo, I have rid in 4cyls that were supercharged/turbo, In light of this information and from personal experances I find that a turbo system is far better then any supercharger system.

hmmm no more smoke!?!?! Yesterday I I bought and installed a Greddy oil filter block adapter ($50.00) so I could easily hook up the Greddy oil pressure gauge and since then I have not seen a single puff of smoke come out of my exhaust?! THat's the ONLY thing I did and the problem seems to have gone away. Damn, I hope this is the end of the smoke!!!!
