What else needs changing?

After reading a few of the posts on suspension it seems that sometimes you need a camber kit and new shocks. How will I know what I need to purchase? I was thinking of getting springs with about 1.5" drop.( My car is currently 8" in the air). I am hoping to gain a little more stability in cornering, will springs ONLY lower the car? I also do not have a front strut bar, which I am hoping to add soon as well. Obviously no racing will be involved, I'm looking for a better stance and a little better in the corners. Any suggestions?

Getting springs and adjustable struts will really help with the handling. Front and rear strut bars will help a little with body roll and handling.

But at what point will it affect the camber to the point where it needs a kit to correct it? I don't want to plan on spending money on springs to find out that I need to adjust the camber with the aid of a kit. Any ideas?

Well any time you lower a car you want to align it. That way you can find out how far off you are with your camber and adjust it if needed w/ a camber kit.

The kits aren't really that expensive unless you have to custom build one. I think they are like $60 or so for all 4 wheels. When I lowered my car, the front was fine, but the back seems to be a bit off camber, so I'm going to have to get a kit.
