I am looking at new intakes to replace my adaptor/filter only setup on the ol' ES the two that I'm looking at have different intake bends. one is a smooth bend the other a welded 90deg bend. Am I correct in assuming the smooth bend would be preferable for uninterupted airflow or does it matter?

my thermodynamics says smoother the bend and smoother the surface the better... makes much more of a diff at top end rathe than low end...
