hello, I just bought a 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 5spd, the car is great but I've noticed that when I put the windows up (Power windows) both seem to slow down after about 3-4". It goes up no problem but I can see that at the front of the drivers door panel closest to the front low corner of the window it looks like the door panel actually stretches or pushes apart as if the window was pushing through the door panel. I tried loosening a few of the panel screws just hoping that the previous owner tightened it down to tight but no luck. Has anyone heard of this happending before??? if so please help, I know I could take it to the Mitsubishi Dealer near me or to a mechanic but I dont feel like paying the $50 to get it looked at if its a simple fix that i could do myself. It sounds like it is slowing down the window which obviously worries me because I dont wanna risk burning out the window motor.
Thanks for the help,

I had the same problem with my Eclipse, I have done nothing about it and it hasn't affect the life of the motors on my car. Its a 97 and the motors are still going strong, I wouldn't worry about it.
