I JUST GOT MY 3000GT IS A 1995 SL BUT THERE IS SOMETHING I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY DOES IT LEAVE A HEAVY GAS SMALL WHEN YOU I REV THE ENGINE ON THE PARKING LOT CULD IT BE THE GAS IS NOT PREMIUM (I HAD TO YOU USE THE CHEAPER ONE I WAS RUNNING OUT OF MONEY)OR WAHT ELSE COULD IT BE PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!

shouldnt be the grade of the gas...i use plus in my sl and ive never had a problem

you sure you dont have a leak somewhere??

yeah i guesss is the gas grade i don't think i have a leak i would of notice already but goona check anyways

Mine is sometimes a little stinky too. WHen was your last oil change? It will smell if you dont have the cat on it. If its a leak the ntake it to auto zone or something and they have a device that can find it in a second.

i just bouth the car a couple of days ago and i don't know when was the last time they change the oil

its has the golden brown color so its not that, and it doesn't smell as bad anymore now

Its nothing really. If its a leak then they will find it in about 15 seconds with a little device. Most turbo cars are a little stinky anyway.

So quick question...I have a 1991 mitsh3000gt sl, however I don't know too much about these cars, but anyway mine has duel exaust...does yours? You see because the previous owner had installed the new duel exaust and when they were installed they were positioned too high to my fuel inlet hose, which caused the hose to melt and I had to replace it. Although I replaced the hose, it still continues to smell like gas because it is slowly melting again...until I can get my exaust lowered, I will continue to have this problem...so you may wanna check the fuel inlet hose, you may have the same issue??
