I've heard that the 00 - 02 Eclipse had problems with leaky door trim, but that it was fixed in 03. Is this true, and if so, will the trim from an 03 fit on an 01 to fix it?

There should be an updated seal you can get through the dealership if that's the case that should fix your seal leak problem. They shouldn't be selling any of the defective ones anymore.

The rubber flap doesn't even touch the window, on either side. If I wash my car, 2 - 3 hours later my window will get soaking wet if I put it down then back up. I'll contact the dealership.

Yeah, same thing. I read somewhere that they fixed that in the '03. I will actually open my door than put my window down, my gf thinks im stupid. I'd rather walk into a food place than put my window down.

LOL I wouldn't go that far... I'd still drive... But then again I never go anywhere without the windows down so they'd likely be down already... LOL
