why is my car so slow?...what can i do to make it sound bigger and give it a few more horseys without spending anything. there's gotta be something, im cheap.

intake, exhaust, spark, and fuel in that order of upgrade. you get the air and fuel mix beefed uf and you hp and torque go up. then get the sparks flying faster and then add quicker fuel delivery. good sound good power.
You can get a good intake system from ebay for around $50, a hi-flow muffler for $50-60, test pipe or hi flow non restricting cat (not legal) for $60 and hi-spark wires from rrm for $90, iridium plugs $5-10 each from any parts store. altogether that's 5-10% increase (or more) then you get into more money header $200-400, catback exhaust $300-400, bored throttle body $289, bored exhaust manifold $349, piggy back ecu $450. another 10-20% increase w/o alot of dough. if you buy from ebay just check out the seller first. road race motorsports specializes in all things lancer check them out!
