i always thought that in all manual mitsubishi that the clutch was made my mitsubishi. But in 2005 mitsubishi decided to stop making one for the car because of the new ACD setting (Tarmac, Gravel, Snow), so since they added that they decided to ask the world famous Exedy, which you know makes the best, lightest clutch kits on the market, to make the stock evo clutch. So i just wanted to put that out there since i was shocked by it.

Where did you hear this? I looked for the information on the web but was unable to locate such a claim.

Go to 'My Profile' link at the top of the page and then it's either 'My Avatar' or 'Upload Profile Photo'....I'm not sure which one. You'll have to piddle with it and find out. I to just purchased my Evo 9 on March 12, 2006 and am very happy. You'll like your Evo. Let me know if your going to mod it...

well that thread is only true to EVO VIIIs the same mods on a EVO IX it will blow the VIII out of the water. your looking at 11s possibly at that point with only minor bolt on mods and some tuning
