What type of times should a guy I know with a 88 Mitsubishi Colt with a 93 Eclipse 2 litre with ported and polished heads and a five speed expect. It also has headers and I beleive a higher lift cam.

Im not sure. I can ask him when I see him. The exhaust doesn't line up right with the header, its about an inch and a half off so he has to get a custom pipe made. He doesn't want to risk driving it much yet but is anxious to get it to the strip. What is the difference between the two, if I know that I might be able to figure it out. I seen the car it came out of because he bought the entire car, it had gotten into a minor accident and the guy just decided to sell the car for 600 bucks. Im guessing one of the models is worth less than the other, it would most likely be the cheaper one.

The 4G63 is the turbo model and usually the more expensive. I would also need to know if it is a GST (FWD) or a GSX (AWD)

Ok, it wasn't a turbo and it was FWD, I know that.

Yeah, he plans to get the turbo for it. He didnt really build it for speed, it has a nice paint job and aftermarket rims and NO FART CAN EXHAUST. The head on the original engine cracked and it was cheaper for him to buy the eclipse for the engine than another engine for HIS car.

Try doing a search on turbo 420a and you will see why turboing that engine is a real bad idea
