ok heres the problem i have a kicker 15 inch L7 and when i pause the cd or turn the volume down, it makes like a thumping noise one after another, can anyone tell me whats wrong and how to fix it???

samething happened to my friend, but it was doing that thumping repeatedley all the time, turns out his amp went bad. But I dont know about it if it only happens when u turn it down or pause.

yeah i had the same probem could not figured out what was wrong but then found out it was the amp cause i put another in and it didn't do it so ur amp is probably messed up

here is what you are looking at....everybody is saying that the amp could be bad. They are right, it could be bad. i work at Circuit City, and a lot of the times what happens is that the ground wire isn't connected well to the amp or whatever you have it grounded to....double check your connections, and make sure its grounded to an area of the car that is clean, and has no other wires on it...if that doesn't work for you, then try another amp...hit me back and let me know how it goes...appreciate it

how about you go get a real sub!!!! and buy a real amp!!!! ok im just playin but yeah check your ground connections, that happened to me once too. i have jl w7's in my car and 2 big ass jl audio amps. either that or you might be on the way to blowing your amp.
