Awesome, thanks guys. I think I am going to put it in the SAFCII before I drop that turbo, or I will just do it at the same time. Thanks again guys. Eventually I will purchase that wideband. It just so expensive.

it is expensive but having an SAFC is not really going to be useful if you dont know what your engine is doing. Thats the whole idea. You play with the tune, then check the air/fuel...then play with it again, then check again, and so on. Without the check you really cant tune. There was a kid that mike knew in florida that had what you have and he tryed to tell us "i can tune just from listening". Which is totally untrue. He later found out that his car was knocking badly with the tune he had. So he had to zero out the SAFC.

I dont know what type of price you were finding on the wideband but this is one of the cheapest places ive seen.

What do you mean he had to zero our the SAFC? And what do you mean about his car was knocking badly?

I dont really want to explain about knocking, look at the sticky that emonz posted at the top of the eclipse section. But once you start playing with the SAFC you'll see. All it does is either add fuel or subtract fuel at different RPM's by put + or - percentages. But this kid leaned his car out and his engine was running very hot. So he had to zero it out, which means he put the fuel setting back to the stock ecu settings.

Alright, I am getting there. But what if I do drop that turbo in my car with just the SAFCII and of course the supporting mods, will I be ok until I get that wideband? It might not be for about 2 months the latest.

Oh it is fine to put the 16g on i would just suggest not tuning the safc until you have the wideband, otherwise youll have no idea how your car is performing and you could end up doing more hurt than good.

As long as you run under 17psi you will be fine, I wouldn't hook up the safc untill you have everything hooked up becuase when you wire it up you have to adjust the settings for the car to run right. THIS is what you need to do, buy the turbo put it on the car, then get all of you supporting mods while letting the car run with the new turbo under 17psi, then when you have everything first install the fuel pump, followed by the wide band. Then do the injectors and safc on the same day, tune it, and your set.

Alright slow420a, let me get this straight.

1. Put on 16G turbo WITHOUT fuel pump, and leave with stock injectors for now.
2. Let car run under 17 psi. As in drive my car around under 17 psi for now.
3. When I finally get mods, first put on fuel pump
4. Then wideband
5. Then put injectors along with SAFC

Is this correct? Can I slap on that turbo without the fuel pump and leave my stock injectors as long as I have it under 17 psi? Can I drive my car like that around?
