true custom is something that is fabricated to your specs and usually one of a kind ( or low #'s of them) but generally custom is anything that didn't come from the dealer, stock on your car.

Your going to probably want to upgrade to a 3 inch pipe if the 2G already isn't. Not really sure haven't gotten around to finding out yet. Find a universal muffler of your choice that has a 3 inch inlet. Outlet is up to you. Go to a shop that can custom fabricate a custom cat back for you. A couple more things is if you want the most out of your custom catback have them use manderal bent pipe try to stay away from press bent if you can. If you find a good shop manderal bent custom shouldn't cost you no more than $400.00 to $500.00 and a press bent should run you no more than $200.00 if you of course supply the muffler. I wouldn't pay more than that and make sure they can at lest coat the piping with some rust prevention or you will regret it later on down the line.

Ohh and another thing don't go less than a 2.5 piping since you have a turbo. You will loss performance. Try to get a 3.0 pipe made.

You should get a 3" pipe, but if you want to tune it out, get a boost controller and BOV first because its pointless to have exhaust with out those. Because those will increase the hp gain more than the exhaust will and you can get those fairly cheap. Then get the exhaust and it will add more hp than without those.

nate is right an exhaust won't do very much at all without an bov and a boost controller, it will just sound 'cooler'. I remember when i first added my exhaust i didnt really feel any difference. But when I added my upper IC pipe with a new bov, oooohhh man. Biggest difference until you get a new turbo. The 2g bov just cant handle any boost.

ugh, you suck, lol. I have my piping and bov sitting at home and I'm waiting on the filter so I can put it all in when that gets here. Maybe next weekend if it's not freezing. I wanna get that sutff in so bad.
