i drive a 2000 eclipse RS..... and something is leaking in my car on the drivers side floor matts and carpet... i cant figure out where is is coming from. there is a very funky odor and everything was soaked... it has smelled for about 2 weeks now, but i never noticed it being wet because i rarely go in my back seat. does anyone know what this might be and how i can fix it? i took out the matts and left my windows and doors open to dry everything out, but i dont think that was the main problem...
please help!!!!!!

Look you need to check the liquid. Try and soak some into a white rag. Check your coolant level. If the white rag turns greenish then it's your heater core leaking antifreeze into the car. If not then what you'll need to do is likely climb under the car and find the drip hose for the AC. Get a wire coathanger straighten it out and slide it into that tube to clear it out. If it's the heater core then to the shop she'll go. Those are a pain to do as you'll have to take the entire dash apart to remove and replace it.

Yeah... I would try that. My moms car had the same prob, one of the drain lines were clogged. Caused a mess when it rained.
