ok i have a 91 talon 2.0 non turbo. the car will run when i first start it up in the mourning and i will drive 30 miles to work and shut it off. i later then go to restart it and it turns over and wants to run and it will gain rpms very slowly then just die like its flooded or just like it has no spark to keep it running. i can unplug the battery for about 15-20 minutes and then reconect it and it will start up no problem. well i only had to do this 3 times in the past week and tonight it did it again but this time when i go to unplug the battery and try to restart it, it like just idles and gains some rpms but then just dies. im so confused with this stupid car im thinking about just getting rid of it. its a new motor too with less than 1,200miles on it. ran fine till about a week or so ago. any help or sugestions would be greatly appreciated. thanks guys

could it just be a bad battery, how new is it? Or maybe even a bad battery terminal, i know i had that problem where one was so corroded that every now and then it wouldnt get a connection.

no it has a new batery and a new alternator. the engine is practicaly new. i believe it is a computer problem or a timing problem. i just dont know how to trouble shoot it to be sure. i looked at other posts but came up with nothing
