How much hp are we getting from each psi we add.

See, i'm runnin AEM intake with K&N cone filter, and 3" HKS exhaust (downpipe and catback, still need do change the ext manifold) and i was going to get a boost controller and install it the same time i install my super afc and my fuel 255 fuel pump, and i'm wondering how much i can safely carank the boost up and how much hp i'm getting for each notch i turn it up.

anyone know how much hp for each psi id be getting?

1PSI= 8-12HP at the wheels/

you can turn yours up to 22PSI safely your only at 17 now. Your not on the stock BOV to you should be fine with no leaks.. A MBC has no set PSI per turn they require alot of getting out and adjusting before you get it right. Some are sensitive like moving it a hair will go 2 PSI or llike mine 2 turns is about 2 PS

wow, i thought the stock setting was 19 hmmm, anyways , thanks. and i knew that those MBC's are a little tricky so i'm goin electronic. acttually this guy is selling a few apexi avc's for like 150 a peice, but the prices are goin up so go to ebay and search: apexi boost.

Stock boost on 03/04 EVO VIIIs is 19 till 4000RPMs then it auto tapers to 16/17PSI the 05/06 EVOs run 20.5 all the way up
