i have a 4cly 2006 eclipse...is it worth it to take out the back seats to make it lighter/

im gonna hafta agree with the engineer on this one ...that would be extremely retarded ....

A. It would look really bad if you didnt do it right
B. The weight elimination most likely wouldnt make a noticeable difference in your speed

it would be a waste of time and room...dont do it

.....wtf...what are you planning on doing with this car exactly???

ive never really seen weight reduction being an issue....just focus on moding the engine and so forth...thats where your speed comes from anyway...

depending on how hard it is to take it out, id just do it on race day

your not gonna really gain from wieght reduction. Like he said, stick to modding the engine. The only time people really go for a wieght reduction is if they are planning on turning the car into a track terror.
