I noticed recently that white smoke is coming out on the exhaust. I did a change oil and put additive. The smoke was eliminated and now I have significant water coming out on the exhaust. After a few minutes of running the engine, the water was very minimal. My concern is my engine oil is getting low yet I don't see any spill or leak on the ground. The water on the radiator does not show any signs of oil in it. The engine is running great. No miss fire or whatsoever. Could somebody please help me.

Water coming out of the tailpipe is harmless condensation. It does not signify a coolant leak or blown head gasket or anything.

White smoke (steam) signifies blown head gasket.

What additive did you put in your oil?

Steam DOES NOT signify a blown head gasket. It can always be the water heating up. I have steam out of my failpipe when its cold and with water in the exhaust it is NOT a blown head gasket. If its a turbo car then dont worry because they do burn a little oil anyway and its perfectly normal. As long as its not throwing out loads of blue smoke then you have nothing to worry about.... just keep topping it up!

keep a close eye on your coolant. if its magically disappearing, with no puddles on the ground, it could definetely signify a blown headgasket. how much white steam is coming out? if its alot, especially after the motor warms up, there is coolant getting into your motor and that will kill it in short order.

at your next oil change, check the oil and see if it looks milky at all. if it does, another sign of coolant in your oil. and coolant in your oil, does not always mean oil in your coolant
