mitsu41 -> 3000GT needs turbo (6/26/2006 2:52:55 PM)

I have a 98 3000GT. 3.0L SOHC Base model. I want to get some speed out of it and I am thinking about a turbo. I have no Idea what kind of turbo to put on it and I have no Idea if the engine will hold up. The car has 90,000 miles on it and seems like its running good but just very slow. Does anyone know where and what kind of turbo I can get and how much psi would be safe for the car. I would appreciate any help on this. I was also thinking about changing the engine out to the VR4 TTDOHC engine. If anyone has any Ideas about any of this please let me know. Thanks
