Hey guys. I drive a 02 Lancer ES. I was wondering, what aftermarket shift knobs would work with my car? Has anyone put a new knob on their lancer? Ive been looking at the heavy GReddy and Skunk2 knobs, I really like them, except that they're metal, which ive heard gets really hot in the summer. Are they more of a pain in the ass than they're worth? I'd love the look of something besides stock but I just need some opinions. Thanks.

No need for the double post.

I really dont see the point to your question. A black shift knob will get hot and so will a metal one. If you really want to avoid that then dont get one... i dont see how a shift knob can be a pain in the ass... i really dont see the point in the question

i bought a cheap shift knob a long time ago. the thing screwed in really crappily and sat so high on my stick it felt completely unnatural. thats why im posting, i want to avoid buying something ill regret later. a shift knob can be a pain in the ass when its cheap, and sits way up high, it makes it near impossible to enjoy shifting. i dont know, maybe im just really picky. but i think all is well, i found the sparco Lithium, i think im gonna go with that.
