so i am pretty sure i am gonna buy a VR-4....hopfully in about a week. what i know so far is i need to put a better synthetic fluid in the tranny, make sure the transfer was fixed/relpaced because of the recall, and the synchros have a bad habit of sh**ing out on people. i have never owned a turbocharged vehicle before so i dont know if there is any other matinence things to woory about or how to tell if the turbos are in good shape when i go to look at the car......thanks for any help i recieve

If they are bad the car will have some smoke coming out of the exhaust and you will hear something called death whine... you dont even have to listen for it... youll hear it

how much work does it take to install aftermarket BOV's like the HKS SSQV?

pretty easy if you have the right flange. Its just a few bolts and re attaching the hoses

when i was reading about them, i read something about weldable flanges....do i have to weld? or what are they talking about.

also i did a search and read about BOV's and from what i understand the 3000GT needs to have a reciculating BOV right?
