why not just get a 6 bolt crank?

congonator -> RE: 2G CRANK NEEDED ASAP (7/14/2006 12:08:35 PM)

I have a 7 bolt block/tranny

Sebba -> RE: 2G CRANK NEEDED ASAP (7/14/2006 12:18:08 PM)

does not make a difference. Would drop in fine

1g crank = less crankwalk risk.

So, you are saying that i would be fine just simply putting a 6-bolt crank with my current tranny, piston/rod setup? That doesnt make sense to me

I dont mean to sound like a dick...upon reading my last message it seems that way

Sebba -> RE: 2G CRANK NEEDED ASAP (7/14/2006 2:36:26 PM)

nah its cool. There are 2 differences between the 2 cranks. One is the hardness of the crank (6 bolt is harder) and the amount of bolts that connect to the flywheel.

yues, so if you put a 6-bolt crank in, then you would need a new flywheel.

ok, so new crank and flywheel, thats it...i know i will need to do electronic work but i already have that covered

Sebba -> RE: 2G CRANK NEEDED ASAP (7/16/2006 7:10:17 AM)
