I currently race a '94 Eclipse GS at a local dirttrack in the 4cyl division. Last night I ran awesome in the heat race, but when I got ready to go out for the feature, I had to be push started. I find out that a mud clot had hit the wire and broke the connection on the starter. Back to my real reason for writing this post. Around the 4th lap(8 lap feature) the car kept cutting out in the corners, but was fine on the straightaways. Had enough fuel. Could it of been the starter not being hooked up? Any ideas? Please help have a race on Wed.

do you fun a full tank of gas?? because when you turn real hard the gas goes to one side and could not be getting to the injectors causing the cut out.
