hi dirt, and all too,

i was admiring those headers of yours, as i often do these last few days(!), and noticed what look to be aditional ground wires; are they as worthwhile as many say? when i bought my intake, i saw a small set of two grounding wires and figured what the hell and ordered it as well, but it had no instructions and am asking if you, or anyone else, have any suggestions as to installation. i was wondering if they should be hooked-up in series, or if they can both just run from the negative battery terminal to any two ground points, say one engine, one chassis. one wire is long and one short, so i believe that in series i'd have to hook up the long wire from the battery ground to maybe the strut tower and the short from there to either the cam cover or throttle body, or from the battery to the cam cover to the throttle, but hey, what do i know? all these tuner goodies are new to me. what do you guys think? as usual, your kind help is greatly appreciated!!!

do a search for "ground wire", there was a discussion on this and some pics posted by wicked.
The search tab is up on the top of the page under the MOD 06 banner. I don't know how to link to it or I would do it.
The ground wires didn't make any noticeable difference for me, maybe my lights got a little brighter and stereo a little clearer, but I replaced my stereo very shortly after so it's hard to say. There were no noticeable performance gains. Do they have a connector to sit on the battery post, or is it just two wires that you got?

BTW, this is my first jap car, I was typically an American car guy with the exception of a few beater cars in between.

just the two nicely clad wires w/ eyelet ends. will check 'ground wire' as you suggested. the term i used to search for installation info was 'hyper-ground,' which had alot of sites with the same, limited info. thanks!

Search this site, not google...you won't find anything useful on the net, I did the same thing for about a week when I got mine...no help from internet sites.

be advise, dont go for cheap ground wires out there..i.e. e-bay ground wires, those are cheap and for one reason, those wires mm are almost same as stock. if you want real power from a ground wires system, check sun auto web site @ sun auto ground wires and hyper voltage systems these are the real ground wires and systems, made from japan. it aint a cheap thin ground wires, which is the same size as stock ground system. go for the fat and real hyper wires.

thanks for the advice! i didn't go e-bay cheap, the wires i bought are nicely clad, thick copper wires with substantial guage eyelet ends.
i'll see if they reduce interference when i listen, though quite infrequently, to am radio. i don't think i should really expect more than that.

thick copper wires are good enough, let us know about the result.
