I just got a 99 Diamante. In the review, it says that it is 20MPG in local, 27 MPG in Highway. But I find that my car burns oil faster than that.

It goes only 240 mile using 15 gallons oil, 1/3 of the milleage is highway.

What is the problem? Thanks.

bad gas mileage can be a combination of things. Getting a tune up, and replacing the air filter are two things that can help

Either that or your using **** gas. Or driving your car hard. Someone once said that a bad o2 sensor can cause your car to eat gas.
