I got this code on my car today? at the auto store they said its a spark plug or wire? anybody - thanks in advance! Lorin

most likely thats the case. I would just replace the spark plugs first. Of just take them out and check and see if any look burnt. But replacements for those are very cheap.

thanks you so much , can i do it myself, or do i have to have a mechanic do it? i dont know a thing about cars, but im sure u cant just pop em in right?

well there is a special socket to take them out but basically they just unscrew, and that is it.

One way to tell would be to switch them with another and see if the cyl you changed it to missfires too.

would certainly be helpful if you actually told us what you're driving, as in year, engine, transmission, etc.

I sure hope you're talking to him and not me, as 1)I didnt redicule anyone, and 2) he gave information that was incorrect, and I corrected him. THATS how you learn.
