well if you call correcting him telling him not to answer if he doesnt know then sure. obviously he thought he knew, im sorry some people here dont have 15 years experience with mitsu's, but that doesnt make you better then us, obviously he thought he knew what he was sayin. i can guarantee you that 99% of the members of this forum would not answer a question if they thought it was a wrong answer. all im sayin is instead of telling them not to answer, just correct them, and dont be an ass. have a nice day

LOL - Thanks guys, im t aking it to my mechanic probably on wednesday. the light went off, but like he says - it will do that. Anyway i have a 2003 gs eclipse , not too farmiliar with what kind of engine is in it - its the original of course , 44,000 miles. I think he may replace the plugs & wires, because Theyve never been. I think its about time.

if the mechanic used ac delco or any cheaper brand plugs that will happen or he may have even cracked a plug while installing them i havent ever seen a vaccum leak cause a misfire on only one cylender that car should use ngk plugs they came factory with champion plugs but they changed to ngk's after a few years because they where having misfire problems

Possibly a problem at the root? (I.E. coil pack?)
