What supporting parts would I need so i don't kill the life of the engine and turbo as well. I just got an hks mbc, greddy bov, turbo timer, boost gauge, and oil pressure gauge. In the process of getting intake, exhaust, and a larger sidemount intercooler with all the piping. any recommendations will be much appreciated

You can run that setup at like 15 psi. If you get a injectors fuel pump plus SAFC II then you can run 22psi... without problems

dude if i were you, i wouldn't even think about bumping all the way to 22lbs. i have a fully race built block that's pushing 300whp and 290tq, and i am at 14lbs of boost. i know for sure i can go to 22 and further, but if your " a beginner" i'd think twice about bumping up that far.
as far as the sfmic goes, a supra fmic will fit and be very benificial. for what you've got i'd stay stock with the injectors since you'll only be flowing @ 80-90% duty cyle (if even that)

get a 16g, install kit, an intake and a catback exaust at the least. Run her at 17psi and call it a day untill you want some more power out of her. Which in that case I would upgrade the fuel pump, injectors, clutch, intercooler, safcII, colder plugs, and a downpipe.

Sounds good to me. I'm really not planning to run a high boost. I know from a little research that the higher the boost does not necessarily mean higher horse power. Without all the supporting parts I will just blow up the engine and stuff like that. Lol. I do have an SAFCII that I was going to put into my Spec V. Still debating on that and stuff.

22psi is fiiiine! Geez lol. I know a dude that ran 32psi for a year on stock internals and the car ran fine.... then he built it up just for the fun of it lol.

32 psi on a 16g, i dont think so. But i dont think he was refering to the internals with the 22psi, i think he was talking about the fuel setup, because if you dont know how to tune then its pointless to run that high.

If you have the SAFC then you need a wideband o2 guage also because you cant tune the SAFC without knowing the response of the car.
