come on people its a 1g NA. There are only two possible solutions to the engine that is in there. One is the 1.8 SOHC or the 2.0 DOHC. In which both cases i believe the motor mounts are exactly the same. You shouldnt have any problem getting the laser motor in there. Yes take the ECU from the laser, and it should be located underneath glove box.

yes fuel pump would be a plus, so would injectors, fuel rail, fpr, wiring harness, all of the sensors(INCLUDING YOUR MAF), you will also need to swap the spedo/tach setup. Which may not be possible due to a hardwear change. Dsm went from a cable driven equipment to electronical but I dont remember exaclty when, either the 7 bolt switch or 2g switch.
