So I'm just wondering, how fast have any of you guys gone? Ever! Cops or no cops.
Explain your experience too!
I'll be the first to go.

155 on the freeway (70 mph speedlimit)
Felt kinda scary, but manageable.
Freeway was open, hardly any cars, dark around 11 PM heading home from a vacation with friend.
And DAYUM, serious wind noise at those speeds.

well i personally have gone 80mph lol jsut got a permit...but i have been in a hyundia elantra doin 120 lol

out of all my cars i did 120mph in my 86 accord carb car, i just felt like getting home early from college, but in my elcipse only 90mph, passing some cars on the freeway.

last year in my friends mk4 GTI, he just kept going faster and faster until he got to 140 where he had to slow for a corner on a very heavy cop road

125 in the EVO racing keiths TT stealth R\T and his RX-7... every time 60-125 and it only takes us a blink of an eye to get moving that fast

120 in my old tiburon.

But i just want to say that i hate when people ask what the top speed of a car is. Its gotta be one of the most pointless stats of a car yet it seems that so many young kids are obsessed with it.

135 and the **** was scary son, my tires are only rated for 100, and the suspension and down force dont work any more at that speed.

110 on highway in my GST. Dont really have a reason to go any faster than that.

yea every one is like whats ur top speed? i just say i dont know, then they look at the spedo and say thats it. im like wtf?

I've gone 148 mph in my 1999 Civic Si. It took quite a while to get there....
