mitsu is not keen on modifying, and will pull the warranty as fast as you can drive your car if it has been modified... and they're right to do so.
however, it obviously wont apply to parts of the car not affected by the modifications, I.E the spoiler in this case.

Spoiler is known to get white spots in the carbon fiber... ill have to take a pic of mine to show you because my is in need of replacment very bad same with the calipers ill get pic of both and then you can keep an eye on yours so you can have the dealer take care of it if you have trouble.

Mitsu is very strict with mods however that is only true to each dealer. for example my dealer is careless to my mods BUT the dealer I went to in Fl told me the car had to be stock or they would kill my warrenty.

AS for the BOV as long as you recirculate it you wont have a bad sounding one. the best BOV out there is the HKS SSQ it cannot leak under boost at all due to its design but it cost $$$. I have it and love it. but if you want something to get the job done and under 100 go with the JDM MR DV you can get that on any EVO site and it will hold over 25PSI without leaks and sound alot like stock

Actually, your warranty on your Evo can't be pulled unless Mitsubishi determines the aftermarket part you purchased caused the failure.

They will void it by seeing the mods I am pretty sure they mail you a letter for reason of voiding... they usually void whatever the mod you have is. like exhaust if you have a catback they will not fix the downpipe if it somehow breaks

They will not replace aftermarket parts but, if you have aftermarket parts installed and start to have engine problems they have to repair the engine problem unless they discover the engine failure was due to an aftermarket part. IE. If you blow a piston ring and all you have is a magnaflow exhaust then they still have to rebuild the engine.

unfortunatly, thats not true. They can pull the warranty even if nothing has failed on your car if they determine the car to be modified, abused, neglected, or used for racing. (its all in black and white in the owners manual).
and once again, they're right to do so. People like to think they're buying factory sponsered race cars here, but they arent. racing is EXPENSIVE, and should be the sole responsability of the owner. Ask anyone that races a lot, and you'll soon find out that it is not a hobby for the poor.
