I have a 1995 eclipse gs, no turbo, yet. i have quite a few mods done to the outside of the car but im sick of having all show and no go! what should i do to make my engine strong enough to handle a good turbo? And what kind of turbo? Thanx!

just get the turbo kit... they are usually around 4k

www.slowboyracing.com has one. You can run that safe at 8psi with no mods

your gonna need to build up the internals if you plan on boosting over 8-9 psi. For a really good kit for the 420a engine id go to Hahn Racecraft. They have the most expertise on those motors http://www.hahnracecraft.com/auto/eclipse/eclipse.htm

Your probably gonna end up saving some money in the long run if you just sell your car, and by a 2Gen turbo exclipse. I would never waste the time and money to do a swap like that.

my neighbor has a boosted 420a for quite awhile and it kept fallin apart.....he owns a 430whp gsx now
