OK so we are driving back from montreal and my girlfriend starts to drive. She backs into a pole and now the rear quarter panel is toast.

I need help from you guys, I dont have alot of money and need as much help as possible.

- What should I do? .... i went to two different places and they said it would be around 2500 to fix just the rear quarter panel?...thats like half of what the car is worth.

should I just try to find a rear quarter panel at a junk yard and have someone throw that on?

I live in the long island area so if anyone knows any good body shops that would be great.

Guys I'm stressing out so any suggestions would be great.

well rear 1/4 panels generally are a pain in the ass to replace. How bad of a dent are we talking about. Something that might be able to be banged out?

yeah it can be banged out...but it looks almost like an accordian.....what should i do, the bumper is still good, but the its about a foot from the back of the quarter panel in towards the middle of the car...it doesnt look like it should be alot of money but the quotes are out of control, i'm thinking of just taking it to the bronx and seeing what they can do

any other suggestions?.....junk yard...new part, how much am i looking at?

Thnx
