I'm looking at buying my first vehicle(teenager) and have taken a liking to the styling of the Diamante/Galants.. I'll be able to only spend $2-3k, so they'd be around 100,000mi.. Are these as reliable as all the other imports are said to be? Is gas mileage ok? I'd obviously be looking at mid90s vehicle or higher.. Would the early 2000's be reliable enough to be bought into the 150k range in miles? I also need a folding rear seat or some other entryway into the trunk - do they have this?

well i doubt for 3k you will get anything newer then say a 96 in good condition. not sure about the folding seats but i hear the diamante is a pretty reliable car... pluss it is v6 so high miles may not be as bad as on a 4 cylinder econo box.

yea, and older model V6 wont have to good of gas milage, but dont they make a 4 banger galant? lol if you want to save gas and have a cheap car, get a mirage, when mine was stock, i couldnt run a full tank out if i had to and they have folding seats.
