yeah i have been thinking about buying a FMIC and for the cost of the intercooler im not sure if it is worth the amount of HP it brings, and if anyone could tell me how much horses it really gives that would be great. and with the mods that i have, im not sure if i should get the intercooler or another mod, if anyone could tell me what would be the best mod to upgrade next that would be great. MODS......Greddy 18g turbo, 550cc fuel injectors, walbro fuel pump, apex safc II, greddy boost controller, apexi down pipe and exhaust. thanks

what type of fuel pump? And id say your inline for a FMIC. They really arnt that expensive. You could get away with about 3-400 if your creative. Im not sure on the exact #'s but i know right now the smic is a weak link.

its a walbro high flow fuel pump, and what would be a good site to find intercooler parts and kits at a reasonable price.

well ussually ebay will have reasonable stuff. The intercoolers arnt bad. But the kits might have crappy piping so thats kinda what i meant by creative. If you want to spend less youll have to get your own piping.

I know a FMIC kit for $475. Its nice. I am planning on getting it too. Go to Dejonpowerhouse.com, then click on DSM, look on the left hand side of the page and under 2nd generation click on Frontmount IC, and it should be the first FMIC you see.

I am not sure if you will like it, but I do.

since you have the 18g you should def get a FMIC. It will make a noticable difference in power because of your turbo upgrade. That side mount is holding you back...i doubt its even effecient with that 18g. If it were me a FMIC would be my next buy.

yeah with your 18g your puttin out almost just as much power as the stock turbo with a smic. with a big FMIC u could get around 100hp from it, possibly 150hp
