Hi guys

I am running an Evo 6 at 1.1 Bar and am experiencing hunching when I start passing 5000 rpm... This is happening mainly from 3rd gear onwards for some reason and the turbo starts cutting out and losing pressure all the time. I thought it was a leaky boost gauge which I replaced with a new Greddy but still no change.

My Boost Controller has also stopped working and switching between low/high boost or switching it off completely has absolutely no bearing. I checked the HKS filter for dirt but its clean and I cannot find a solution.

I just had some HKS plugs put in but I am not sure if this is the problem. Could the plugs have made such a dramatic impact?? I some how doubt it...

Any suggestions on how to fix this or what else could be the root of the problem? (I was planning to stick a fuel regulator, modified fuel rail and a slightly modified Evo 7 Turbo this weekend, but its pointless to carry out the work until I find a solution...)

Any recommendations here would be greatly appreciated!

sounds like a boost leak. How good is the BOV you have on it. And also check the IC piping and intake to see if there is a leak anywhere. Or it also could be the wastgate

Does sound like a vacuum leak but check your plugs and wires just to be sure. Also maybe the injectors are dirty. Just a thought
