first dont race the car untill you have atleast 1000-1500 miles on it. You need to drive the car easy during the break in period.

To launch the car rev up the RPMs to 4500 or so hold it there and then come off the clutch at a steady pace so you burn the clutch a little and the car will just take off from there.

i dont think it was 7000, cuz it wasnt the rev limiter he was hitting, he just kept reving it to build boost.

Ya it was 7K.. EVO rev limiter is well over 7k. I was reving from 6500-7000.

But on topic the IX wont launch 7K cause it has a launch limiter

wow...u launched at 7. How'd that feel. I'm curious now, but I won't do it. lol I could get around the 5k launch limiter by letting the car roll a tiny bit then taking it to 7. Once the car is in motion the launch limiter isn't active, i did launch from 6 one time to see how it felt.

But to antox18, definately put some miles on the car before u race and especally launching. It's much easier to slip the clutch to get a good take off when the car has been through it's break in period.
