i wouldnt doubt that much...

I tell you what... the day i have a problem with it... is the day i will buy only Mitsu Recomended fluid.

I wonder how much marketing influence there is in the official statements like that. I do know that specialty formulations (no affiliatiion) will custom formulate fully synthetic ATF fluid to SPIII specifications. Whether SPIII is the same as ATF+4 Ill never know, but the guy who runs SF has a custom blend for Mitsu cars.

As far as PS fluid, he claims that Glide PS fluid works in all systems EXCEPT honda. What makes Honda different than the rest of the industry? I dont know but there is a difference....

Ill report back what I personally find on the non-mitsu fluid I plan on using. The original fill at 60k is dark, dark red - it looks very USED......
