Lemme ask you guys something. Does poking holes in a stock muffler give the same effect as an aftermarket muffler that makes all that noise and ****?

no because technically a muffler is supposed to give alittle better flow as well, being less restrictive, and still pass emisions laws because a hole would definetly fail. Also a hole will sound alot worse than a muffler, even though some mufflers do sound like crap as well. So my sugestion, dont poke a hole

lol, yeah, I know someone who has a 1.8 liter colt like mine and he uses it as a beater, but he has an aftermarket muffler on it and it sounds pretty good. So just any muffler shop? I'll have to find one in my area.
