PooT_Nation's photo gallery 		Sadly, I'm forced to Sell my Eclipse.

I'm going to be in NY next year and need a 4wd car.

The car is in great shape but has one problem, The ECU thinks that the Air Sensor is not working properly. Mitsubishi tried installing a new air sensor, but that didn't do anything. The air sensor is working just fine, but the ECU isn't. Mitsu quoted me $1070 for parts and labor, or save money and do it yourself.

I'm selling the car for $5,500. Cheap for what the car is really worth. my loss = your gain.

New Alternator/Starter/Battery within last 3 months.
New Head Gasket & Goodies/Brakes/Tires/02 Sensor within last 7 months

Recently Added: Air/Fuel Gauge and Boost Gauge on A-Pillar (air/fuel isn't hooked up to 02 sensor yet)

OH ya, I had a new stock manifold installed. Old one was cracked.


Reason for Milage difference. When the car had 50k miles the engine and turbo had a factory defect, so Mitsu changed them out for free. I have all recipts.

Sebba's photo gallery 		Have you tried cracking open the ECU and doing a continuity check on it? If you can locate the fault i think you may be able to replace the one component causing the problem... maybe just a little connection.

PooT_Nation's photo gallery 		Ya, i thought about that, but i'm way to chicken to start fiddling with the ECU. dont' want to screw it up even more than it is. I did have it down at Mitsubishi Service and they took a look at it. Said they'd need to replace it. but you know how dealerships are. don't want to fiddle, just want more money.

If it can be fiddled with, then great for the next owner! even more money they'll save!
