I am still trying to build up a 420A, and trying to pinch where I can, has anyone heared of wiseco pistons? A friend of mine bought a + .020 set for his 420A, and sold the car to buy a gst. He told me I could have the set for $450 with Eagle rods. Are they any good, should I get them?

They are very good. They are well known in the DSM world.

If you are getting both rods and pistons for $450.00 I'd jump on that deal.  Pistons alone are worth almost that much.

$450????  get them.  I paid almost $500 for mine. (in a G54B).  You will like them. They come cermanic coated.  I have been very hard on mine and they have held up great.  Good Luck

That is exactly what I have in my EVO. Its a 2.3 stroker with Wiseco pistons and Eagle rods. Chech out " ride of the month".

weisco is a great name.   the are made as a sub company form JE Pistons.    i have a friend running a low 7 second drag Camerso and they won't put anything else in their car.   i also bought them w/ eagle rods to build my 420a a while back.
