sometimes 2nd but alot in 3rd i hear my turbo spoolin fine but the car aint accelerating as fast as the turbo..it could be turbo lag? its like the turbo spoolin and the car stays were it was in the previous gear..is there a connectionn error somewhere??

check for a boost leak?

From what your describing it sounds like a boost leak. The only thing is that a boost leak is constant, which would mean that you wouldnt go anywhere in the other gears as well. I recomend that you check all of your charg piping for leaks and if thats not the problem give us more information so we can help you better, ie- auto/stick, mods, miles, anything other problems you have/are experancing.

It would be easier to get a boost gauge.

so a boost gauge would tell me i have a leak? i have all stock piping(sad) and these are the mods..fidanza clutch and flywheel,greddy turbo timer...greddy rs b.o.v..k&n filter..apexi n1 exhaust and downpipe.all in a manual transmission...ive seeen threads about how to check for boost leaks...but i need somethin simple easy and fast....meanwhile i can check for wholes cuts and other **** in the piping...p.s does anyone live in orlando...or knows where there is meets at??thanks to all help

oh and another thing..this promblem doesnt happen all the time..i mean if i start from first shift a 6000 etc with every gear it wont do it..but if im shifting at normal rpm's thats when this little lag comes in...ex.goin form 3rd crusin then i push it to 6000 then go to 4th thats when it happens...hope im explainin ok...

hmmm...

Well get a boost gauge that will tell you if you have a leak or not.

EDIT: Wait a min, so your saying that you dont have the same power up top as you do lower on the rev scale?

Is this a case of T25itus?

Like... say in second gear... you floor it... hear the turbo spool like crazy.. and when u pass sorta like 6000 that kinda dies off and the car feels alot slower.

This is because the stock turbo (T25) sucks ass... hense the joke "T25itus"
