Look I have a 97gst...i crankwalked my engine:(....now im looking at a 92tsi which has the 7-bolt engine....The question im asking is will this bolt straight up being a 7bolt?....if not what parts do I need from the tsi 2 make this engine work in my car?....im buying the block and head for certain but dont want 2 buy anything that I can just use off my car....Thankx for all the help in advance!

All 7 bolts crankwalk. Yes if would bolt right up. Regardless of forged internals or not... it can still crankwalk.

hes probably getting it cuz of a good deal or something. If i were you i would take this oportunity to go 6-bolt, but if thats all you can afford to do now then go for it. I dont think you should encounter any problems. All the mounts are the same. The internals are differnent but that doesnt matter.

Well really I have 1500.00 2 get back on the road again....Im just hoping 2 find the best for my money....And someone had told me that the 1g 7bolts werent anything like the 2g as far as crankwalking but I see he might not have known nething bout it...

Well ebay is an option of it.....What do yall think of this company car king that sells the 4g63 engines?...hes got longblock 6bolts for like 1200.00 buy it now....and for some reason his 7bolts are like 1800.00....

ebay = sketchy. Id try and stay away from it. I would look on dsmtrader and find people selling there long block. There are alot of people that are. I am still trying to sell my 6-bolt short block.
