ok i installed an A/f ratio gage! and i seems i am running really lean! it's a faze a/f gage and even when i am excelerating it barely goes in to the yelllow. is this a bad thing!

my buddy tells me that when i am excelling hard it should run rich! and when i am on decell it should fall back down and run lean.

could some one give me the heads up on all of this!

would bigger injectors and a high flow pump bump my power and make my car run better!

thanks
bud

because hes describing with colors and not #'s im assuming narrowband. Now yes you should be hitting in the green under full boost. My guess is either the guage is hooked up wrong or you have a clogged fuel filter or injectors

All narrowbands are different. It dosent actually mean a single friggin thing! The gauge is hooked up fine... it just sucks.

Ergh.. thats a narrow band. What it displays means absolutly NOTHING. You need to get a wideband

sebba it still atributes to something though. It doesnt erase the fact that he should be hitting green at full boost. I admit its a POS and really gives you no help on tuning a car, but it does give a reading, and right now his is too lean. When i had my talon i got the crappy narrowband, not knowing any better, and even with how ****ty my car was it would still hit green

But how do you know what its calibrated to? It could be calibrated to ANYTHING?!?!?!?!

I have a friend that had a Renault 5 GT Turbo and he had a wideband and a narrowband. The wideband showed the normal a/f ratio and the narrowband said rich and never moved from that.

What im trying to say is they dont actually indicate anything unless they have been calibrated to your car.
