I just got a 99 eclipse spyder, maroon with a tan top... im lookin to get the tan top switched to black but as of now i am looking for advice for what to do with the car as is. What type of rims and color would go good? im thinking gunmetal but unsure with the tan top... any advice? also im pretty sure white is the only way to go for a marroon car because red would be too much, but also would like some imput. Now the main thing is im thinkin of going with a carbon fiber hood that looks exactly like the factory hood but would that look good on a marroon car? also more importantly, will the tan top make it look real nasty? please any advice wouold be very helpful.

yea, i know the feeling, i gotta teal spyder with tan top and interior, im workin on changin everything to black....... you could go with hyperblack rims, that would give it a really aggressive looking stance........ then you could get the black top and carbonfiber hood, that would look cool as hell.......... just to make sure, maroon is real dark red, right???
sorry, i cant see differences in shades of colors to well..........

Yea, it's a dark red and can have a little bit of brown (it's a vauge color that can have a wide range). I think if you got the right ones black would be good for rims. Just get ones with a lot of negative space so they don't just look like black blobs. (negative as in the space the spokes don't take up).
