I just replaced the pads on the rear of my 95 montero sr and have noticed the right rear wheel and rotor are getting very hot and smell. The drivers rear seems fine. I put in ceramic pads. Can these be fixed by re-bleeding or does the caliper need to be replaced. Any advice would be greatly appriciated.

They are fine man. Its normal with new pads. Brakes will smell all the time. The high performance ones will squeel and stink.

I know they may smell a little but they got so hot the wheel was hot. I took the lock pin and other pin out and greased them and it seems to be a lot cooler. If itake the top off of the brake resevoir and am able to push the piston in i would assume the caliper is fine.It seems like when i have the vehicle jacked up and in nuetral the wheel drags a little but still turns is this normal.

Jacking the car and in nuetral the wheel should rotate 1/4 to 1/2 turn after spinning with your hand and letting go. Is your emergency brake dragging? If it is, your wheel will not freewheel like you are describing....
